If you are installing Ruby in order to use Ruby on Rails, you can use the following installer: Bitnami Ruby Stack provides a complete development environment for Rails. BTW: This includes the sqlite3 gem which is used as default in new Rails4. sqlite3.exe is downloaded and in my PATH, and I can use SQLite databases from the command prompt just fine. When I try to setup basic installation and initiation of server using Rails 4.0.0 on Ruby 2.0.0, I'm facing the following error message.
